Volunteering and Fundraising is a big part of our dedication to our communities. And when it comes to our team members, we’ve found that they are often the most passionate advocates for making a difference.
Our team members raise money for the causes they care about, they volunteer together at all-day events, and they contribute their time and effort to supporting the nonprofit organizations that align with their personal passions and skillsets.
That’s why we created our annual recognition program – VolunCheers. Each year, we as Rocket Companies team members to nominate the teammates and leaders who go above and beyond to make a positive difference in our communities. These are the rockstar volunteers and the super fundraisers, for whom volunteering and fundraising isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way of life. After combing through hundreds of nominations and reading inspiring stories, we announced our VolunCheers recipients last month. We are proud of them and their efforts to elevate our communities!
In Detroit, we held a celebration recognizing our Detroit-based VolunCheers. Since the event was held close to Valentine’s Day we felt it was the perfect time to show our love and appreciation for these extraordinary team members.
