You could say that Bryan Beran-Miceli is passionate about making a positive impact in the community – but that would be a huge understatement. For nearly 11 years, he has shaped the way Rocket team members contribute to our For More Than Profit approach. As the Senior Director of Volunteer Engagement and Giving, Bryan leads a small but mighty team who are just as dedicated to ensuring every team member can make the biggest difference possible.
“As a team, we pride ourselves in our ability to create meaningful relationships both internally and with our nonprofit partners,” he says, “our goal is to empower team members to make a positive impact in our communities by participating in volunteering and giving experiences that they feel personally connected to.” This is also one of Bryan’s biggest sources of pride – the relationships that team members have been able to build with nonprofit partners through company-sponsored programming. “It’s always great to see team members truly show up for our nonprofit partners again and again,” he says. Bryan’s vision is working – thanks in part to his leadership, Rocket team members have volunteered over 1.2 million hours nationwide since 2010.
So what advice does he have for someone who wants to get involved, but doesn’t know where to start? It’s simple: “Find your passion,” he says. “Getting more involved in your community works best when you treat it like building a meaningful relationship: start small, stay curious, and follow the energy of what genuinely matters to you.”
